Ponte Vista Update, Spring 2015
Demolition of the old Navy homes, roads and infrastructure at Ponte Vista was completed this spring. In addition to removing the houses, all the roads, underground pipes, electrical wiring and other in-ground and above-ground infrastructure was removed in preparation for the construction of new homes at the site. Asphalt and concrete from roads and driveways was saved and stored, and will be re-used in the new development.
Ponte Vista will shortly begin grading and preparing the site for installation of new roads and other in-ground infrastructure, before new homes are built in 2016/17.
